When a patient has an Acute Myocardial Infraction (AMI), every second matters.

When a patient has an Acute Myocardial Infraction (AMI), every second matters. Leiden University Medical Centre wanted to explore Internet of Things technologies to see how they could help to improve door-to-balloon times for AMI patients, looking for a solution that was easy to use and accurate, and ultimately gave the hospital the ability to act faster for urgent care patients. To meet the needs of LUMC, Zebra developed a highly innovative Time Tracking solution, enabling the hospital to measure times more accurately and obtain real-time feedback on procedure timings.
